WAFC Away

The notorious WAFC were on tour in Valencia last month, and needed a new tour kit to intimidate the international competition (results to follow - think they won by four wickets to a try). The logo was updated, and loads of gold stars were added above the crest to indicate that they'd all been trained in how to use the deep fat fryer.

Most importantly they said that they looked so professional in their new strip and matching tracksuits that someone actually asked them for their autographs at the airport.

Architexture

Created an invitation for a buildings-and-texture-themed photography exhibition recently (whilst at Yardpartners). It was mono and included some red foil block - printed by Avenue Litho.

Super-Size Me

I recently created a burger illustration for the new and updated Blas Burgerworks website - or Blas 2.0. If you're in Cornwall - pay a visit to Blas: the food is really tasty. The burger was coloured in and written on by Ben & Mike.

Bargain Basement

Got sent this pic the other day by a friend - a whole pile of a series of book covers I'd designed for Harper Collins. He called it a shrine to my work - I'm not so sure...you know its all over when there aren't one but two special offer stickers on each and every copy!

Run Mabboo Run

Ran the Bristol Half Marathon last weekend - as part of Team Mabboo - with Ed, Sam, John, Rich and Adam. Here's a photo. FYI I'm the one in the Mabboo T-shirt. Got a time 1 hour 56 minutes, but more importantly raised over £250 for the National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society. Watch this space. More Mabboo and Lucozade-Sport-drinking news coming soon...

Ka-Blam!

Recently created some illustrations for Catch 22 Magazine - to accompany an article about obscure / exotic / different occupations young people go into nowadays. My fave things to draw were the wrestling masks and sound effects.

My Stop Thinking In Pixels And Vectors screen-printed poster (VERY cryptic unrelated name obviously) was featured in some gallery of artists in a youth enterprise magazine . Down with the kids!

Yardpartners Site

The new Yardpartners site is now live. Check it out here. You can see some of the work I've done for Unilever and Airwave in the portfolio.

I created portraits of the whole YP team for the site, even the dogs (although between you and me they're really not pulling their weight). I've been working closely with YP for a while, and made it into the hall of fame (am still trying to push through the employee of the month thing, with stars on name badges - yet to hear back. Hello, HR?)
