Notorious BIG
I now have a portfolio on Brighton Illustrators Group. Take a look around the newly-redesigned site - there is a wide variety of cracking work on there by lots of different Brighton-based Illustrators.

Create in Brighton
Was shortlisted and went on to win the Create in Brighton imagery competition recently, run by Frank PR, Drink In Brighton and sponsored by Tiger Beer. It was a complete surprise after seeing the high standard of work, especially in photography and illustration. A massive thanks to everyone who voted for the work on Facebook, and to the judges Lomokev, Lawrence Zeegen and Sarah Arnett. Hopefully it returns again next year!

I completed my very first (and potentially last) marathon yesterday! As a mild asthmatic I wheezed my way round the Brighton Marathon on Sunday morning, accompanied by my standard unavoidable Darth Vader sound effects for 26.2 miles. My speed eased off a little as I toured the quite frankly inspiring Shoreham Industrial Estate... A massive thanks to absolutely anyone who cheered, shouted, swore (or moaned about a road being closed) as I straggled past. It was absolutely awesome to not be crouching over a computer for a morning.
I did it to raise money for NASS (the National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society). You can sponsor me here. A huge thanks to everyone who has already sponsored me for NASS. Long may their work continue.

Watership High
Following on from the Blas panorama, I recently painted a mural in a toddler's bedroom, with a lot of help from The Alice! Here's some shots of the woodland scene that covered the two bright yellow walls, including: hedgehogs, worms, mushrooms, bunting, spiders, squirrels, diggers, clouds, planes, hot air balloons, kites, trees grass and birds ... phew! The birds are very happy - not angry FYI.

NASS Active Light
Recently designed a mini-publication for the National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society, focussing on their fundraising accomplishments. I also created a logo for their new campaign of events taking place in June 2012 - Natter with NASS. I'm also running the Brighton Marathon for NASS next month, so expect to be inundated with sponsorship requests yeah?

Meow Meow 'Like' Meow
My illustration on the theme of Discovery in Brighton has made the shortlist of 30 semi-finalists in the Create In Brighton image competition. The top ten pieces will go through to the grand final, a process I very much hope includes Richard O'Brien shouting "Start the fans please!", and small pieces of bacofoil.
You can vote for my entry by 'like'-ing it on Facebook here! All votes will be entered into a prize draw to win lots of prizes including £100 of Urban Outfitters vouchers, £100 of Office vouchers, and crates of Tiger Beer. Thanks for your help!

I Know Kung Fu
Here is a present I made for someone - on behalf of someone else. Hear it went down well, and that I didn't make them too ugly or anything. Her nickname is Kung Fu - or maybe she knows Kung Fu - so watch out!

WAFC Away
Most importantly they said that they looked so professional in their new strip and matching tracksuits that someone actually asked them for their autographs at the airport.
More photos to come soon...
